What the company is alleged to have done
The complaint alleges Green Toys sold the affected products despite internal testing data showing safety risks to children. The Consumer Product Safety Commission separately issued a recall covering the same products.
The settlement covers two distinct groups: parents who purchased the product but did not experience an injury (eligible for a refund), and parents whose children suffered a documented injury caused by the defect (eligible for additional compensation).
Who qualifies as a class member

- You purchased one of the affected Green Toys children's products in the United States during the class period.

Total settlement value: $340M. Estimated number of class members: 320,000. Most class members will receive their payout by check or electronic transfer within four to nine months after the court grants final approval.
